Should HIV positive health professions inform their employers on their status's?

That would depend on what type of health professional you are. It is not a requirement in most states. If you are licensed in your state you should check with your state's licensing board. They should have rules about your ability to practice. If you can practice legally and are comfortable doing so, you do not need to inform your employer. If your employer is large they may have a written policy on this as well.
