| Is it possible to obtain life insurance if you are HIV positive Dec 7, 2009 As title suggests, there is word out that anyone HIV positive cannot get life insurance. Is this true? If one can get life insurance, how do you proceed, which companies. Any suggestions, or help would be appreciated. Thank you. |

There are a few life insurance companies that will issue limited amounts of life insurance to HIV+ individuals: New York Life through AARP for individuals eligible for AARP, up to $15,000 Mutual of Omaha - up to $10,000 Physicisan's Life - up to $10,000 Gerber Life - limited amounts ($5,000 - $10,000) Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company (except in New York) | |||||||||
