job discontinuance Oct 20, 2008 my job is being discontinued. I have the option for Cobra. What other options do I have and what if I move to a different state. I currently live in Chicago IL and thinking about moving to Saint Louis MO. |

 I am assuming that you are writing to this site because you are HIV+. Based on that assumption, your best option would be COBRA or employment with an employer who offers group coverage. If you move out of state and your current plan offers no out-of-state coverage and/or your employer doesn't have employees in the state you move to so he doesn't offer coverage there, your COBRA would stop. | |||||||||
