Meds and disability Jul 31, 2008 I have been HIV+ for 9 years and doing well. My question is concerning other health issues (unrelated) I have that may possibly cause me to take early disability someday. I'm worried about how I would be able to afford my meds. They are $1500 a month. My husband is self employed, so I carry insurance on the family. I'm afraid that he would make too much allow me assistance, but not enough to afford the meds. This worries me constantly. I hope you can help. |

 Does your employer offer a disability plan? If so, hopefully, you enrolled in it. If not, the next time your employer has an open enrollment for disability, you should sign up for the coverage. | |||||||||
