| New insurance policy prior to disclosing HIV+ Jul 31, 2008 I recently tested HIV+ at an anonymous clinic. Colorado has mandatory reporting once I go to a physician and I'll be doing that soon. However, technically no one else knows I am positive at this point. Is it possible to purchase a smaller life insurance and/or disability policy prior to that (one that would not require a medical exam, of course)? |

Response from Ms. Franzoi
Most disability or life insurance policies responses to medical questionnaires and/or a medical exam. There are a few companies that will extend life insurance policies without medical proof in very small amounts. Check with Mutual of Omaha, Physician's Life and Gerber Life. | |||||||||
