can I get Medicare?
Aug 21, 2007

I'm disabled over 15 years and not eligible for SSDI. How can I get Medicare? I am not eligible for medicaid.

Response from Ms. Franzoi

You have to be eligible for SSDI for two years before you can qualify for Medicare. If you aren't eligible for SSDI, or Social Security as a retiree age 65 or older, you won't be eligible for Medicare.
