My Insurance lapsed Jul 2, 2007 I live in Florida and my insurance lapsed whilst away for more than 63 days/ I had group of one insurance through my company as sole employee. I hear I am unable to get an idividual policy becuase of my pre existing condition (hiv). Can I get new insurance through group of one imediatley or do I have to wait for a prexisting clause period of time? Any suggestions how I can get cover again? |

 Since you let your coverage lapse, you are in a difficult situation. You can apply for coverage under an individual contract or a group contract for a small group under your company. However, the insurance company could decline to cover you. If this happens, check to see if Florida offers a major risk medical insurance program for individuals who have been denied coverage. | ||||||||
