SSD Denial Sep 12, 2005 I just received my "formal" SSD Denial Letter. I applied 6 months ago. I have AIDS, Chronic Herpes Simplex Virus & Triple Diagnosed Mental Health Issues. I should have had a Lawyer to start with but did not and find the denial appalling (to say the least" based on my multiple health issues. Can you let me know after now having to hire a Lawyer exactly how long the appeal process may take? I have heard horror stories of Denials taking up to a year to "go through". I am having severe financial difficulties at this point after waiting and am near my wits end. Thank You |

 You really need to speak with a lawyer who specializes in Medicare appeals as he can advise you, based on your specific situation, how long the appeal process might take. | |||||||||
