hi whom it may concern that if i get term life insurance. and find out the i have HIV-2 after 2-3 months because they did not test for the HIV-2 . and die from AIDS in about couple years will my insurance company pay the insurance money.
Response from Ms. Franzoi
All applications for an individual life insurance polcy that I am aware of, ask whether or not you are HIV+ or the insurance company requires a blood sample for testing. So I am confused by your question as your HIV status should have been clear from either. However, assuming you answered the questions on your application honestly, including questions about your HIV status, pre-existing conditions, etc., the coverage should be valid and benefits payable if you were to die from AIDS.
