HIV positive and want to be an RN
May 2, 2004

I'm interested in bcoming an RN. Will being HIV positive prevent me from doing so? Thank you.

Response from Ms. Breuer

If you'll do a search of this site--this very forum, in fact--you'll find multiple questions just like this with many answers, depending on the angle of the question. You're in good company! Please put yourself in touch with the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care (www.anac.org) and read the other responses on this site. You're going to be very glad you did. The news is good.
