Nancy: you are amazing!
Jan 12, 2004
I am not HIV positive, though did have a false positive HIV test (since disproved through repeated tests) and terrible viral symptoms...so I know how it feels to "know" that one has HIV - at least, it seemed certain when I received the positive test result from an excellent Lab.
I am still quite ill, but my point here is that I have followed with keen interest the questions posed to you and the way in which you have answered them. I think you are a very amazing person - so smart, full of great advice, so compassionate and so effective and unique in the way you communicate!
Hope you'll stay on this forum for a long, long time to come.
Response from Ms. Breuer
Oh, my heartfelt condolences on the misleading test result. They are rare, but they cause such upheaval.
Your kind comments are heartwarming. Thank you for taking the time and effort to write, despite feeling so ill. I wish you strength and recovery!
