sorry, i sent out only half a question,but need to give more info. i am the nurse, who flushed a heplock, getting diluted red fluid , on an exema patch of skin. the skin was in no way open, no open sore in site. just dry rough skin. i did not report it ,and now i am sick with fear. please please respond. pt was a 45 yr old man with no significant hx. thank you, have a nice day

We are not physicians here in the workplace forum, and I think your anxious mind deserves to be put at ease by someone who can explain in depth what risks were and were not involved. Okay?
