Wondering if I'm still covered on my LTD. Mar 20, 2003 Hello! I have had a long-term disability policy for many years through a professional organization that I belong to. I was not HIV+ when I first took out the policy. Since my HIV wasn't a pre-existent condition, am I still covered, or is HIV treated differently from other medical conditions? In this particular case, is there a way I can check that out without having to reveal my status to the insurer? Thanks! |
