Can an Employer of a small company disclose information about a person's HIV status to the Employer's wife or any other person in the State of FLorida?

Response from Ms. Breuer

No. Never. Nyet. Non. If you're in this situation, get a lawyer. Medical information in an employer's hands is confidential, period.

How did the employer obtain this information? If you disclosed it voluntarily, please think three hundred times before doing that again. YOur diagnosis is your business, not your employer's. You have to disclose to sex partners, but not to employers.

Good luck.
