|EEOC help enough?
Sep 24, 2002
If I have been put on Leave thru a "set up" (disclosed to VP unethical plant revealed to me by my boss, which I reported, then my boss lied)then was put on mandatory Leave 7 days after disclosing status of HCV positive, will the EEOC help me? Will that be enough or will I need private lawyer too. This is a big company who had this setup planned down to the minute detail, but i know exactly what they've done to me and I fell right into their trap. Please help me. I have children in college and must keep this good salary. My work and attendance have been exemplary for 17 years. Thank you.

Only the EEOC can tell you whether your case falls into their jurisdiction. They're in the blue pages of your phone directory under the federal government listings. If they say no, please contact an attorney who specializes in employment law. Yes, the attorney will cost money, but not as much as losing a good job would cost.
