How can I learn more about becoming an HIV/AIDS workplace educator?
| Response from Ms. Breuer
You have several potential resources: your local AIDS service organization, the public health department, the CDC's Business Responds to AIDS Program, and WorkPositive, my own company (www.workpositive.com). However, there's about as much demand for workplace HIV educators right now as there is for electric typewriter repairpeople, despite the still-lamentable level of knowledge/ignorance that rules most workplaces. Don't, as they say, quit your day job.
