hsbc life insurance

I was the one that suggested hsbc.. Here is the exact wording of their question:

Have you been diagnosed as having AIDS Related Complex (ARC) or any other disorder of the immune system, except HIV status, or have you tested positive for HIV antibodies as part of a test for obtaining insurance? As you can read,. if one has never had aids or arc diagnosis, you can answer no to this question..Not everyone who is pos can answer no to these questions.. but some can.. I can. Please post this and give your input.. thanks

Response from Ms. Franzoi

I think answering no to this question by someone who is HIV+ (described above) carries risk with it. If someone were to answer no and then dies, his/her beneficiary might encounter problems in collecting on the benefit. Whether or not the insurance company would dispute a benefit in this situation, I cannot say.
