I WAS DIAGNOSE WITH HIV IN 1994 CURRENTLY I HAVE MEDICAL INSURANCE TRU MY HUSBAND EMPLOYMENT.. HE IS GOING TO RESIGN MY QUESTION IS THERE ANY WAY THAT I CAN REMAIN WITH MEDICAL INSURANCE OR DO I HAVE TO TRY TO GET A NEW INSURANCE AND IF I DO WHAT CO IN NY OR NJ WOULD PROVIDE COVERAGE FOR HIV

You should be eligible for COBRA coverage for 18 months through your husband's employer. (Assumes your husband's employer has at least 20 employees.) At the end of COBRA coverage, if you don't have other coverage through an employer (either your employer or your husband's), you would be eleigible for a HIPAA policy through any insurer that sells individual policies in your state.
