Insurance for HIV + women

I am living in ethiopia, my fiance lives in Atlanta, Georgia, he filled our case to The Embassy in my country, ethiopia, to get married. The Embassy in ethiopia requires an HIV test, Unfortunately i forcefuly raped and get contacted with HIV. I declare my case to the embassy, they asked me to produce am insurance certicate from my husband country. I told everything to my would be husband, he acepts my case, but he told me that there are no insurance co. who accepts my case around atlanta.
Dear My sister, evrything turned down, i need your assistance to find me an insurance co. which accepts my husband question. I dont know whether the embassy is correct or wrong.

If your future husband is employed by a company in Atlanta that provides him with a medical plan, he should be able to add you as his dependent once you are married. Your HIV status (or any other health status) would not be a factor in getting the coverage as his spouse. However, the plan might have a pre-existing exclusion clause. If it does, any HIV-related medical expenses would be excluded for the first 12 months of coverage under the plan.
