Awaiting Green card interview with HIV+STATUS

Please help. I have been living in the U.S. for 8 years, have obtained sponsorship through work and I am in the final stages of getting my permanent status. I tested poz here in the states about 4 years ago and I know that I have failed my medical exam. i HAVE BEEN DOING AS MUCH RESEARCH AS i CAN AND MY OUTLOOK FROM WHAT i SEE IS DISMAL. From what I have read , I will be immediately denied. i HAVE MEDICAL INSURANCE THROUGH WORK. i DO NOT HAVE ANY RELATIVES here in the states and I am at my wits end. Do I have any hope. This is my home know and do not wish to return to the U.K.
Please can someone help me.
Are there any new laws that are in process. I feel this id unfair to deny my greencard based in my HIV STATUS

Because of the stories I have heard and the research I have done, I can only tell you that you need a strong ally, an influential person who will vouch for you, because our green card policy on HIV in this country is so restrictive. Do you have any friends in political circles? Is your employer influential? My heart goes out to you--since you have made this country your home, it should BE your home. But from all I know, you must find a strong ally to stay here. Contact everyone you know who might know an influential politician and give each person a brief writeup of your case and how you are contributing to the culture here. Then ask if they will help you to get in touch with that politician. Be clear, firm, and honest without being melodramatic. I think it's your only chance. I wish you the best outcome, truly.
