HI DR JOHN

iam from india,and ya iam a drug addict,on 23 july 2002 i foolishly used a used needle of a person whose hiv status i didnt know,therefore i tested for hiv on 23 october,it came negative,am i negative?should i retest?plzzz advice

A negative antibody test 3 months after exposure would indicate you are negative and no further testing is necessary unless you have another exposure; JLS.
