Mosquitoes and HIV

Dear Brooks, I understand from my husband that mosquitoes can spread HIV from an infected HIV person to a healthy person. Is that true?

Response from Dr. Jackson

There has never been a reported case of this type of transmission. I think that it is extremely unlikely.
