I am a stay at home mom, married for 20 years to the same guy, never engaged in extra marital sex with anyone my husband claims the same,we have four children ,Had two miscarriages last year, and was tested for the hiv virus on the last miscarriege in november 2001,it was negative. Now i'm pregnant again,on my first prenatal i had a battery of test included the hiv test eveything came back normal, except the hiv came back possitive,my husband swears he has never fooled around and is ready to take the hiv test and a lie detecter test to prove he is telling the truth, now how could two people that never had sex with anyone else except each other, have the test come back positve,my husband is very upset and wants me retested,I am so afraid of having the second test come back positive,is there a way to be absolutely sure the test is not a mistake,PLEASE ANYONE HELP ME understand this.

You don't mention wat kind of testing you had, but a false positive result is possible. You should be re-tested not only for HIV antibodies (HIV ELISA and Western blot) but also using more specific tests for the virus (DNA or RNA PCR).
