I am 36m HIV + since '88 and low on testosterone. I am taking 200 im bi-weekly. Is it safe to take the injections weekly. What I'm taking now just does not seem to up my levels. I had read on a a response on another persons similar situation that he could increase to 300 and take on a weekly basis. Is this correct and safe to do?
Thank you for your answer.
Response from Dr. Fisher
The general dose range is from 100mg weekly up to 300mg every 2 weeks. Probably the best way to check this is to have your levels checked just before your dose is due (at either 1 or 2 week point). If the levels are low...increase the dose.
