|Mooney, Vergel, Built To Survive?
May 1, 2000
Do you have any comments on the advocacy efforts and opinions of people like Michael Mooney and Nelson Vergel? And the accuracy of the information in their book Built to Survive and on their website, medibolics.com?
Response from Dr. Dieterich
I know them both and they are of great benefit to people in increasing awareness to anabolics and testosterone. Just look at the cover of Time magazine this week, to see how prescient they are. Many patients have benefited from their knowledge. However, anabolics and testosterone are not the cure for every ailment and they should be kept in perspective and the side effects should be weighed with the benefits in each case and individualized for every patient. Douglas T. Dieterich, M.D.
