Will my meds be in jeopardy if I allow them to run through the airport xray screen?
Response from Dr. Pavia
They will be safe. The types of molecules in medications are generally resistant to extremely high levels of radiation, and the levels in an airport xray machine are quite low. Even the big machines that are used on checked luggage should not hurt your meds, although those machines (used on checked luggage) will damage photographic film.
