| Effect of other medication on CD4 Dec 27, 2007 I have not start my medication yet, but for the time being i am taking multivitamin and primrose oil with fish oil. I wonder will there be any effect on my CD4 count? |

I am not aware of any data suggesting that what you are currently taking would positively or negatively influence your CD4 count while you are off or when you start antiretroviral medications. I do encourage you and others to always let your primary provider know of all medications, herbs and vitamins you are taking since some may interact with other medications, and for others there may be limited data regarding potential interactions therefore requiring close follow-up.
