| Any American research on this Chinese method? Mar 19, 2007 http://www.china.org.cn/english/features/aids/158986.htm China has developed an herb extract they say is an "integrase-inhibitor" against HIV. Is there any U.S. research to refute or support this finding? It claims to be treatment without drug cocktail. |

Response from Dr. Daar
I am not aware of laboratory or data in patients to support these claims. The good news is there are integrase inhibitors in development that appear to be very active in the laboratory as well as in patients. This should provide wonderful new options for those in need. Best, Eric |
