Starting Fuzeon Sep 23, 2006 I have to start Fuzeon shots in a couple days and i am really scared because of side effects.I suffer from anxiety real bad and about every couple months when i go to the dr i take a valium because of panic while traveling.Would it hurt to take one before starting this shot.Thank you Sandra |

 Hi Sandra, I don't think it would hurt to take a Valium prior to injection the first time. Please be careful not take Valium regularly. It may cause drowsiness. I think it would be a good idea to have someone around to help you also. The Nurse Connections program can come to your house and show you the ups and downs of injection technique, along with mixing and other hints to prevent injection site reactions. Your practitioner can make the referral. Good luck. Carol |
