Thank you very much for your kind response which was helpful. At present my husband is taking Zerit 40 mg 2x daily; Videx 100 mg 2x2 daily and Strocrin 200 mg 3 tablets at night. The instructions state Zerit and Strocrin can be taken morning and night irrespective of meals while the Videx must be taken half an hour before a meal. I would like to know whether Zerit and Strocrin should be taken before, with or after a meal. Must all three Zerit, Videx and Strocrin be taken simultaneously or not. Please advise and thanks for your wonderful site. Sandra

All 3 medications can be taken together on an empty stomach (for the Videx), or the Videx can be taken on an empty stomach and the Zerit and Stocrin (efavirenz) with or without a meal (a meal doesn't matter with those 2 medications although a meal does increase Stocrin levels about 30% or so). Taking them together or a part really doesn't matter.
