Hello, Why did God make death? If he loves us so much why does he make it so we have to be separated from our loved ones? Jesus mentions hell several times in the Bible and yet everyone assumes they are going to be with their loved one in heaven someday. We cannot even assume that. It makes no sense. thank you for you time

Dear Friend: In answer to your question about death. Death was not God's intention actually life is, as God is the creator of life. God also reminds us that He wants us to have life and life more abundantly while the devil the enemy of our soul seeks to steal kill and destroy. Death was introduced into the equation at the moment of orginal sin. Jesus does mention hell several times, and Jesus also mentions life in him more then he mentions hell. We should not assume anything, we are to trust in the promises that God has given us and rest assure in them. Beloved God wants us to have life and relationship with him, and to recognize that death can be a transition point of us being able to spend eternity with God as God intended from the beginning in the garden.
