Catholic School Teacher
Dec 23, 1999
Father,
One more thought...I just left you a message about me and being a middle school Catholic religion teacher. I was wondering if you could offer me one more insight?
Currently, I am working on becoming a principal. I am a homosexual male, but want more than anything to be principal in a Catholic school. How do I resolve these two issues?
God bless,
JT

Response from Father DeMartini

Dear JT-- Thanks for your question. I am not sure what "issues" you think need to be resolved. There is nothing incompatible with being a principal and being homosexual or heterosexual to the extent that one lives their sexuality responsibly and within the discipline of the Church. I hope and pray that you could offer your leadership gifts honestly and caringly. You are in my prayers, Fr. Rod
