Who goes to hell?
Mar 12, 1997

No, one does not go to hell as you stated Rev. Pieters because he is gay!! I will say Amen to that. One goes to hell because he chooses to rebel against God and go his own way, and not God's way. We can be a good person, we can help little old ladies across the street, but we can still go to hell if we do not accept Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour. This is what Gods Word says. If one goes to heaven simply because we are good then why Rev. did Jesus have to come to earth for 33 years and suffer and die for our sins??? Yes, Gods plan for salvation are simple: John 14:6, Romans 3:23, Luke 13:5, Romans 10:9, Romans 10:9, Romans 10:13. This is Gods plan of salvation! Its easy and simple. God wants the gay individual to be set free and have life more abundant and free of this sin and bondage. There are many, many christians who are praying for those in the gay lifestyle. May God set you free. There are many of us who have been set free and now we are educating those in the Christian churches about the gay lifestyle.

Response from Rev. Pieters

I fear that you are educating those in your Christian churches about your disappointments in the gay lifestyle. I highly doubt that you are giving a complete and accurate picture of the lesbian and gay community. For instance, have you taught your churches about the Metropolitan Community Churches, where people all over the world come together to worship God in Spirit and in Truth? There are gay and lesbian Christians everywhere, who believe that Jesus Christ is our personal Lord and Saviour, which is your criterion for being a Christian. Are you saying that my confession of Christ is Lord and Saviour is not valid? Isn't that between me and God, not you and me? Please read my answers to "can fundamental christians love homosexuals" and "God is love and His love is found in His word..." . May God set YOU free. There are many of us gay men and lesbians who have been set free by our Christian faith as the gay men and lesbians God created us to be. Now we are educating those in the gay and lesbian community about the fundamentalist Christian arguements used against us, and how to counter them. We are educating those in the heterosexual lifestyle about our lesbian and gay devotion to Christ and what that means within the context of our loving homosexual relationships.
