una gran duda Aug 23, 2001 Dr: se muy poco acerca del virus VIH aunque tengo familiares con el virus, quisiera saber si siempre que se contrae el virus se manifista la infeccion tarde o temprano, o es posible ser portador de por vida sin que se manifieste infeccion, quiero decir, cual es el plazo maximo de que se contrae el virus a que se manifieste?puede haberse contraido l0 o l5 aos atras? |

 Es correcto. Existen pacientes poirtadores crónicos los cuales llevan entre 17 - 20 años sin progresar a síntomas. En término generales la mayoría de las personas desarrollan síntomas entre los 11 - 12 años de infección. |
