 Buenos días, No es claro porque te hiciste un Western Blot cuando el ELISA fue negativo (no reactivo). La única indicación de un Western Blot es como un examen confirmatorio cuando el ELISA es positivo. Sin embargo, ahora tienes este resultado que claramente cumple los criterios de un resultado indeterminado: 1. Negativo es igual a no bandas. 2. Positivo es igual a reactividad a gp120/160 más o gp41 o p24. 3. Indeterminado es igual a cualquier combinación de bandas que no satisface los criterios de un examen positivo. Ahora lo más importante es saber la importancia de tu exposición de riesgo. Si el riesgo fuera importante, querrías proseguir con otros exámenes para aclarar tu situación. Si el nivel de riesgo fuera bajo o si el riesgo fuera inexistente, te sugeriría que vuelvas a hacerte un ELISA. Si todavía es negativo, deja de hacerte más exámenes. Dr. Steve |
