 Es posible porque (1) sabemos que sin tratamiento un portador tiende a perder entre 50 y 75 células CD4 cada año y (2) los valores normales de células CD4 fluctúan entre 500 y 1.400. Por tanto, si un portador comenzara con alrededor de 500 células CD4, sería posible que tenga alrededor de 350 después de dos años sin tratamiento. Dr. Steve |
