Embarazo May 27, 2010 Hola Dr. Steven: Mi pareja es seropositiva con carga viral indetectable desde hace un mes. Planeamos tener un bebe en cuanto cumpla los 6 meses en esa condicion de carga viral. Es posible lograr la fecundacion natural con un riesgo bajo o forzozamente debemos buscar la inseminacion artificial. Gracias Saludos |

 Hola, Claro que la carga viral indetectable de tu pareja y mantenerla a este nivel durante por lo menos seis meses disminuyen el riesgo de transmitir VIH vía relaciones sexuales sin protección de una manera significativa. Sin embargo, no lo eliminan y por tanto la inseminación artificial (con "sperm washing" si el hombre es seropositivo) continúa siendo el método más seguro. Mucha suerte y fuertes abrazos. Dr. Steve |
