No. VDRL es eficaz para detectar la sífilis; ELISA u otra prueba de anticuerpos contra el VIH es eficaz para detectar el VIH. Ambas son pruebas serológicas o sea buscan por los anticuerpos contra un microorganismo (y no la presencia real del organismo); sin embargo detectan microorganismos muy distintos. Dr. Steve |
