 Nunca digo que un lector "tiene que tomar pastillas," sino que le recomiendo que piense seriamente en empezar tratamiento. Y eso es exactamente la situación aquí. Ambos tu recuento de CD4 (inferior a 350) y tu carga viral (superior a 100.000 copias) concuerdan con los criterios contenidos en las directrices más actualizadas de tratamiento: a estos niveles de CD4 y de carga viral, sí se recomienda terapia antirretroviral. No te olvides de hacerte un genotipo, una prueba de resistencia, antes de escoger un primer régimen. Los resultados te ayudarán a escoger el régimen con la mejor probabilidad de ser eficaz y duradero. Mucha suerte y un fuerte abrazo. Dr. Steve |
