prueba rapida Sep 27, 2008 COMO ESTA DOCTOR.HACE 1 AÑO Y 9 MESES TUVE UNA RELACION SIN PROTECCION EN LA CUAL ME CONTAGIE DE HERPES GENITAL, ME HICE UN TRATAMIENTO Y HE APRENDIDO A SOBRELLEVARLO. A LOS 8 MESES DE LA RELACION ME HICE LA PRUEBA ELISA LA CUAL SALIO NEGATIVA Y AL AÑO DESPUES DE ESTA OTRA ELISA LA CUAL ME SALIO POSITIVA(3,2 PARA SER ESPECIFICO) HOY OSEA 1 MES DESPUES DE ESTA ULTIMA ELISA ME REALIZE UNA PRUEBA RAPIDA DE CASSETTE Y ESTA SALIO NEGATIVA, ¿ QUE PUEDE ESTAR PASANDO ? ES ESTA PRUEBA RAPIDA CONFIABLE? QUE TANTO? ORIENTEME POR FAVOR Y DEME SU CONCEPTO, MUCHAS GRACIAS. |

 Hola, Mi primera pregunta es: ¿La ELISA positiva hace un mes, fue confirmada por un examen Western Blot? Una ELISA positiva sin un examen confirmatorio también positivo, tal como un Western Blot, no es un resultado positivo. Lo más probable es que tu prueba rápida negativa sea confiable. Sin embargo, a la luz de tu serie de resultados poco clara, te recomiendo una ELISA adicional. Si es positiva, hazte un examen confirmatorio o sea un Western Blot. Si es negativa, deja de hacerte más exámenes. Eres VIH negativo. Mucha suerte y un fuerte abrazo. Dr. Steve |
