 Hola, Significa una posible infección por sífilis. El VDRL, como otro examen utilizado para diagnosticar la sífilis, el RPR, es una prueba de detección. Sin embargo, si resulta ser positiva, un examen confirmatorio, tal como el FTA, siempre es necesario para confirmar un diagnóstico definitivo de sífilis. En otras palabras, un VDRL reactivo + un FTA reactivo = sífilis. Dr. Steve |
