Infeccion en Fase aguda Feb 4, 2006 Estimado Dr: Queria consultarle si es común que a los dos meses de una infeccion de hiv, los CD4 esten en 200 (8% CD4) y la CV en 450000. Que repercusion tiene esto en el futuro? En fase aguda conviene medicar de acuerdo a estos valores? |

 Estimado amigo, No, no es común. De hecho, es insólito. Es verdad que durante la fase aguda de una infección por VIH, los CD4 disminuyen precipitadamente, pero no hasta el nivel de que escribiste. Los CD4 en 200 representan una infección crónica. Con estos valores CD4 en 200 y la carga viral en 450.000, el tiempo es ahora para empezar el tratamiento.
