Sustiva y Combivir Mar 28, 2001 Dr. Tebas: Soy un paciente que acaba de empezar un tratamiento basado en tres Sustivas (efavirenz 200mg)y un combivir (150mg lamivudine y 300mg zidovudine) por la noche y otro Combivir por la maana. Es la primera vez que empiezo un tratamiento ya que me diagnosticaron hace un mes. Mi carga viral es de 150.000 y mis celulas T son de 114. Mi pregunta es si usted considera que esta es una buena combinacion siendo este mi pirmer tratamiento. Muchas gracias, saludos, Ricardo |

 Me parece una opción muy razonable. Yo empiezo con esa combinación en muchísimos de mis pacientes y en general es muy bien tolerada. Los efectos secundarios más frecuentes con ese régimen al principio serán la nausea con el convivir y una sensación de inestabilidad con el sustiva. Mejoran deprisa... Suerte.
