SIEMPRE QUE HAY ANEMIA HAY HIV? Oct 6, 2004 Estimnado Steve. Tengo una pregunta que hacerle. Siempre leo que la anemia es un indicador de HIV. Pero toda mujer que presenta anemia por seis meses sin retroceso y sin ningun otro sintoma es candidata fija a HIV +. Es así de intensa la correlación? Muhcas gracias por ser tan amable. |

 Estimado amigo, Hay muchísimas causas de la anemia; por lo tanto, la anemia en sí no es un indicador de VIH. Sin embargo, en las personas VIH positivas, la anemia es un trastorno muy común. Por ende, todos los portadores deben hacerse a intervalos regulares una prueba de sangre llamada un Recuento Completo de Sangre, o CBC, por sus siglas en inglés. Esta prueba puede diagnosticar fácilmente la anemia, una enfermedad muy tratable. Un saludo. Dr. Steve |
