Procedimientos en banco desangres Feb 5, 2003 Estimado Dr. Santana: En todos los hospitales donde se tenga un banco de sangre, entiendo que la sangre debe ser analizada previo a que se le destine a un paciente para ver si esta infectada por el virus VIH. Las pruebas que se utilizan son las universalmente conocidas?, si es asi cabe el riesgo de no deteccion en el periodo de ventana, correcto?. Y que sucede si un lote de sangre da positivo al elisa pero negativo al western blot,puede utilizarse tambien?. |
