Elisa y Western Blot

Estimado doctor Santana:

Me gustaria conocer su usted a conocido algun caso en el que despues de un Elisa negativo realizar la prueba Western Blot y ser positiva.

Podria darse esta circunstancia? En que casos?

Esto es extremadamente raro. La unica situacion que recuerdo fue un resultado erroneo de ELISA. Lo que si es mas frecuente es ver ELISA negativo y Western Blot indeterminado, una banda de proteina, gp24, gp41,etc.
