FRACASO DE TERAPIA

Hola doctor, he leido en otra web que cualquier terapia fracasa en aproximadamente 1 año y 6 meses de media, es eso cierto? me parece poco tiempo, yo llevo con la mia (kaletra + kivexa) un año y dos meses, con cv indetectable y cd4 de 490. Por otra parte quiero someterme a una operación quirúrjica de correccion de la miopia, habria algun inconveniente? y debo informar antes de la operacion de que soy seropositivo?

Hola español,
Sí, "en otra web." En la web de tonterías. Si una terapia está funcionando bien, es decir que está suprimiendo la carga viral y manteniendo el recuento de células CD4 (el sistema inmunitario), y si es relativamente bien tolerada (mínimos efectos secundarios y toxicidades), no hay ninguna razón para no esperar que pueda continuar funcionando bien muchos años. Por favor elimina este sitio Web particular de tu lista de "lugares favoritos."
En cuanto a tu intención de someterte a esta operación oftalmológica, no, tu enfermedad por VIH no plantea ninguna contraindicación. Y sí, deberías informar al quirúrgico de tu historial médico completo. Para que te cuide bien, necesitará saber todo relacionado con tu salud.
