VIH en barbería

Mi hijo cuando se corta el cabello en la barbería, con la rasuradora electrica le cortan un poco en la piel, si la barbería no cambia la navajita cada vez que atienden un cliente, se transmite el virus de VIH por este medio en tal caso que la rasuradora haya cortado a un portador? Qué tan efectivo son los desinfectantes aerosoles que usan las barberias para desinfectar las rasuradoras?

Hola padre preocupado,
Te tengo una buena noticia: No existe evidencia de transmisión de un barbero a un cliente. Sin embargo, los Centros para el Control y la Prevención de Enfermedades (CDC en sus siglas en inglés) recomiendan que las navajas de afeitar se desechen o se limpien y se desinfecten cuidadosamente después de cada cliente. Ten en cuenta que el VIH es un virus muy frágil y que no sobrevive con facilidad en el medio ambiente. No preocupes más. Tu hijo está bien.
