Hola Doctor:
Muchos saludos. Ya ando de preguntón otra vez; ahora más tranquilo (antes estaba desanimado por mi descenso constante de CD4).
Una amiga consume "Factor de Transferencia", (porque ayuda al sistema inmune); ella no porta VIH, pero es muy enfermiza. Yo quisiera saber si es recomendable hacerlo también, considerando que soy seropositivo asintomático, CV 40000, 550 CD4.
La dosis que me recomienda es 1UI cada semana, alternando lapsos de consumo de tres meses.
Agradezco su amable atención y sus palabras de aliento para todos los que acudimos a este foro.

Hola "preguntón,"
La dosis correcta es 0 UI cuando sea. Se hablaba un poco de esta terapia alternativa en el contexto del VIH a mediados de la década de los 90. Sin embargo, no había nunca cualquier prueba de que fuera eficaz en el tratamiento del VIH. ¡Ahórrate dinero!
