Dr Steven, junto con saludarlo, le hago un resumen: soy ih positivo con cd4 de 190 y crga viral 450 mil.Por lo mismo , me recetaron Septin forte por 3 meses, pero justo hoy me enronche en casi todo el cuerpo, es esto normal? debo descontinuar el septrin? , estoy con la triterapia ademas tomando Combivir y Stocrin, muchas gracias ..Benja

Hola Benja,
Salirte sarpullido "en casi todo el cuerpo" nunca es normal. Podría ser particularmente importante en tu caso porque es un efectivo secundario potencial bien conocido del Septrim (Bactrim, trimetoprima-sulfametoxazol). Sí, absolutamente debes descontinuarlo y llamar ahora a tu médico especialista en VIH. El querrá verte en su consultorio hoy. Mucha suerte y no te olvides de escribirme la actualización.
